Unlike many modern streaming services, AutoRadioBox does not track your musical choices, your playlists, or your business habits. We believe in providing powerful tools that respect the autonomy and privacy of your business operations.

2. Information We Collect

To provide you with a functional software license and technical support, we collect the minimum amount of data required:

  • Account Data: Your email address, provided during the purchase process or trial registration.
  • Device Identification: A unique Machine ID (a non-reversible digital fingerprint generated from your hardware) and your IP address during license activation. This ensures that your license is used only on the authorized number of devices.
  • Transaction Data: Information regarding your subscription status, processed via our Merchant of Record.

3. How Data is Used

We use the collected information strictly for:

  • License Validation: Verifying that the software is running on an authorized device.
  • Technical Support: Assisting you with account-related inquiries.
  • Security: Preventing unauthorized use or distribution of our software.

4. Local Data & File Access

AutoRadioBox requires permission to access local folders on your device to manage and play your audio files.

  • Zero-Upload Policy: AutoRadioBox never uploads, copies, or transmits your MP3 files, jingles, or schedules to our servers or any third party.
  • Local Processing: All audio processing, scheduling logic, and playback occur locally on your machine.

5. Third-Party Data Processors

We partner with a limited number of industry-leading service providers to facilitate our global operations:

  • Payment Processing: We use Paddle as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment information, billing, and global tax compliance. AutoRadioBox never sees or stores your credit card or banking details.
  • Infrastructure: We utilize Cloudflare for secure, encrypted storage of our licensing database.
  • Communication: We use professional email delivery services to send your license keys and critical technical updates.

6. International Data Rights (GDPR & Global Standards)

We adhere to the high standards of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Regardless of your location, you are entitled to:

  • The Right to Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about you (typically just your email and Machine ID).
  • The Right to Erasure: You may request that we delete your data. Please note that deleting your licensing data will terminate your ability to use the software.
  • The Right to Data Portability: You may request a transfer of your data to another service.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as your license is active. Should you choose to terminate your relationship with us, your data will be purged from our active licensing systems, except where we are required to retain transaction records for legal and accounting purposes.
